To mark the Holy Year, Pope Francis will celebrate services with journalists and the armed forces in the Vatican. This is according to the Pope's liturgical diary, which the Vatican published on Wednesday. A large number of jubilee celebrations are planned for various groups of people and professions in the Catholic jubilee year 2025.

The first event of this kind will be dedicated to representatives of the communications and media from 24 to 26 January. In addition to a papal mass in St Peter's Basilica to mark the end of this jubilee, Francis plans to receive media representatives in the Vatican Audience Hall on 25 January.

The armed forces, police and security forces will follow from 8 to 9 February. The Pope will celebrate a mass with them in St Peter's Square on 9 February. Another papal mass will take place in the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls on 25 January to mark the feast of the Conversion of St Paul the Apostle. This will be followed on 1 February by the service for the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in St Peter's Basilica. (KNA)
