Pope to young people: Listen to your heart!

Pope Leo XIV asked young people to listen to their hearts. Today, the ability to listen has so often been lost, said the head of the Church during an audience with pupils and teachers at the Vatican on Saturday. "We listen to music, our ears are constantly flooded with all kinds of digital impressions, but sometimes we forget to listen to our own hearts," said the head of the Church.

Yet God speaks to us in our hearts, calling and inviting us to get to know him better and to live in his love, said Leo XIV. God created everyone with a task and a mission in this life, the Pope reminded the young people. "Take this opportunity to listen and pray so that you can hear more clearly the voice of God calling you from the depths of your heart." (KNA)
